The DCCP Season Ticket Holder Electronic Network The idea of creating networks of season ticket holders is linked to the Customer Relations Charter of Derby County Football Club. Every football club in the Football League
and the Premiership is required to produce a Customer Charter that indicates what they commit themselves to do in relation to the supporters, and the wider community.Since its formation in 2003 the Derby County Community Partnership has been formally linked with the production of, and auditing of the Charter promises of Derby County Football Club. One of the promises agreed by the Club is the commitment to improving feedback facilities for supporters. We are particularly interested in improving the feedback channels for season ticket holders, whose financial commitment enables the Club to function. Promise 1 in the 2004-5 customer charter states that: Derby County Football Club will continue to work in partnership with the Derby County Community Partnership to liaise with season ticket holders, club supporters and local community groups, in order to improve and further develop the club/supporter/community relationships. The objective will be achieved through regular fan forums, questionnaires and supporter weekends and community consultation events at Pride Park Stadium. In association with that promise, we have now launched electronic Season Ticket Holder Workplace Networks. These can be of any size from two or three up to groups of several dozen people. Each group will have an online contact coordinator to whom information will be sent and from whom comments, suggestions and complaints can be passed to us. The complaints and comments form part of our regular contact with the Board of Derby County Football Club. We also have frequent, direct contact with Jim Fearn, the Head of Community Affairs at DCFC. At the end of each month, we formally review the topics under discussion and arrange to meet Jim to discuss current issues. There will also be occasions when information on specific topics related to specific matches or Club activities would be useful. As we receive information from the Board of Derby County we send it to all season ticket holders in the network. At times we may seek views/opinions/comments on specific issues which are of concern to all season ticket holders. These may be associated with match day events or matters off the pitch. The network is invaluable for giving DCCP the widest possible voice for comments at meetings with the Executive Board of DCFC. The most important aspect of this network is to give all season ticket holders a free, direct channel to the Head of Community Affairs in the first instance, and ultimately to the Directors of the Club. The DCCP consider it vital that season ticket holders have a collective voice at the Club we love. To arrange a network at your workplace, please contact us by telephone or email. |
