2007-08 Season Tickets

Derby County have announced a price freeze for season tickets in 2007/08 irrespective of which league the Rams are in.

To keep things simple, Derby County's 2007/08 season ticket deal is identical to 2006/07. It means fans who took advantage of "early bird" prices last time can claim exactly the same price if they buy early this time around.

To take advantage of best prices, fans need to renew by April 13. Apart from an earlier schedule, the only other difference this time around is that first time or lapsed season ticket holders can take advantage of the same deal as renewing season ticket holders. This has not been the case in recent years.

Fans have the opportunity to spread payments over either four months or ten months to suit their individual needs.

Said Chairman Peter Gadsby: "We make no apology for trying to encourage more Rams fans to invest in a season ticket: we need to keep attendances high at Pride Park Stadium to create the atmosphere that we supporters and the players enjoy, and this applies whether or not Derby County are playing Premiership football in 2007/08".

The DCCP are pleased that there has been no increase in prices and that the Club have continued with the discount for people renewing early. We are also pleased that the innovative pricing around the junior categories has been retained and that other clubs are now following this lead as we feel it is important to retain and introduce younger fans to the game. We would like to see more work done in terms of making season tickets available to those who currently cannot afford one and again welcome the fact that the Club has put in arrangements to help spread the cost of a season ticket.

Overall, we believe that most fans will be pleased with the pricing for what we all hope will be our first back in the Premiership.
